Yeah I just got the new issue of Canadian Art Magazine! It is the Art School issue. A great issue for learning about schools within Canada, what to expect, students that are coming out of art school and other fun articles! Be sure to pick this issue up at your local book store.

On Saturday November 13th OCAD is hosting National Portfolio Day. This is not a competition but an opportunity to bring your portfolio, filled with your best work, to be critiqued for potential admissions into the art and design school of your choice.

Here at Spark Box we know how hard it can be to find the right school and put together the portfolio that will get you into the program of your dreams. This is why we have developed a website focused on applying to art programs. Here you can find all the information you will need to know when picking your school, developing your portfolio and choosing your career. We know that making the transition into post secondary education can be troublesome especially in the arts, so this guide is our way of helping you to get organized and hopefully it will answer some questions that may be on your mind.
